Great product! No regrets.
Is it better than the $20 clipper that you bought at Wal-Mart? YES. It has a powerful motor, a great battery, and it charges in 1 hour. On a full charge, it cuts for about an hour. For me, that means several haircuts per charge (I'm not a barber, just a guy who shaves his head twice a week).
Do you "need" this clipper? Of course not. Spending $200+ on clippers is downright silly. Full disclosure: these clippers ROCK! I don't regret my purchase for a moment.
If you need some reasons to your purchase, here you go:
* It's CORDLESS. Cords suck. You already have a cordless phone, a cordless razor, and a cordless drill. Why not a cordless clipper?
* It looks and feels like a $200+ clipper. It's overpriced, but at least you won't feel like you have been ripped off.
* It has a replaceable battery. Rechargeable batteries fail over time. When this battery fails, you can buy a new one (only $65!!). The battery is Ni-CD, not NiMH or Li-Ion. It's an old technology, but a durable one. Same technology that powers many power tools.
* The blades are replaceable and interchangeable. Want to add a trimming blade? No problem. Switch blades in 20 seconds. No screwdriver required. I don't know why that's cool, but it is. For the record, I have never switched blades.
* You can use it with a cord. A really long cord. Cool.

Great for a cordless clipper
Don't expect to get the same power as a corded clipper, but overall it handles a full hair clipping with ease. Solid construction and durable attachments make this clipper the best low price cordless version around. I'm very pleased.

These are fair clippers...
I purchased a pair of these clippers for $14.99 and the price is comparable to their worth. These clippers will not cut close enough for
a bald head but will give a nice low cut. The problem is I normally keep my hair bald, so these are not to my liking.

Doesn't cut my Shih-Tzu's hair
This product is working as a soothing massager right now....my Shih-Tzu likes it when I try to cut his hair but it doesn't cut off his hair as quickly or as much. My dog's hair (1" long) jams up the teeth/edges every 2-3 strokes. I've tried on 2 separate occasions, and he looks the same. I was only able to shed maybe 10% of his hair...not recommended for a Shih-Tzu. jennifer

now i dont have to go to the groomers and pay 20$ for a cut. instructional video was helpful too
Dissapointed
I have a cocker spaniel so his ears have tons of fur on it. The clippers could not handle that much hair so I had to make numerous passes to ensure that the hair was all cut the same length. I also had to take off the attachment comb every 5 minutes to get the hair out of the blade. The hair gets stuck on the bottom crevice of the blade causing the blade to stop moving.
The clippers worked fine on the rest of his body since the fur isn't as thick. Also another issue with the clippers is heat. After using the clippers for about 45minutes--the blade gets really hot.
These clippers aren't for dogs with thick fur.

Good Unit.
I have only used this items twice, but it has performed very well. The instructional DVD was very helpful in determining how to cut properly. This is a good unit and has all of the necessary items with it.

has work with no problems so far. I would have liked for it to have more attachments.
cheap but good
I bought this to replace my last Remington, which stopped working for no reason. It gets job done and a bit less noisy then my old one. It feels a bit better quality-wise but costs less.
